Overview

Yukkuri Between Worlds (“Yukkuri”) is a AnimeCon companion app for profiles, lineups, photos, posts, and convention planning.

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use https://yukkuri.world and related services.

Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • Account information: email address, display name, username, and authentication provider identity (Google, Discord, or email/password).
  • User content: uploaded images, lineups, public posts, profile details, messages or interactions you submit through product features.
  • Technical information: IP-related logs, browser and device information, error logs, and security logs where applicable for operation and abuse prevention.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage accounts and login sessions
  • Operate core product features
  • Display and organize user content you choose to publish
  • Support safety, moderation, and fraud prevention
  • Respond to support requests and service communications
  • Improve reliability and product experience

Service Providers

We use third-party services to run Yukkuri. This list may change; we will update this policy when providers materially change.

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
  • Vercel — hosting and deployment
  • Resend — transactional email (sign-up confirmation, password reset, etc.)
  • Google — optional OAuth sign-in when you choose it
  • Discord — optional OAuth sign-in when you choose it

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Post authors can receive notifications showing the public Resident identity of people who like, save, complete a recorded share, or participate in a poll on their Post. Save and vote lists are not public. Participation notifications do not disclose vote choices; historical anonymous votes are not assigned identities.

Content you publish — such as lineups, AnimeCon posts, or public profile details — may be visible to other users according to product behavior and settings.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users and the service, or with your direction.

Data Retention

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce policies.

Backups and logs may persist for a limited period after deletion.

Account and Data Deletion

You may request account deletion by contacting support. Automatic self-service deletion is not yet available in the app.

Deletion requests (placeholder process): email support@yukkuri.world from the address linked to your account with the subject “Account deletion request”.

We will verify ownership before processing. Some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate safety records.

Children

Yukkuri is not intended for users under 16.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date when we do.

Material changes may also be reflected in the policy version recorded at sign-up.
